Using traditional hand tools and techniques you'll explore ways of creating satisfying and accomplished products using sustainably harvested ‘green’ wood. Courses are taught by Mace, whose engaging and entertaining teaching style brings the subject to life.   • If you're a green woodwork novice, try the two -day introduction to green woodwork & pole lathe; make a hedgerow chair; learn how to make a yurt, book onto a parent & child day, or enrol on the beginners' Bodge Club.
  • If you've already tried green woodwork at the Barn (or elsewhere!)you also have the option of courses using more advanced techniques - come and make a ladderback chair, or turn a bowl on the pole lathe.
