Traditional hedge-laying is an ecological legacy. Carried out every 5-25 years, depending on style, a laid hedge provides excellent habitat and  prolong the life of a native hedge almost indefinitely.

 Hedge-laying produces a beautiful boundary with a regionally distinctive style. Laid hedges are stock-proof , improve with age, and need very little attention.
